Margaret is the CEO and owner of AGM. She has more than 20 years experience processing FHA insured multifamily loans. Prior to founding AGM in 1990, Margaret worked as Regional Vice President of ABG Financial Services, an FHA co-insurance lender, from 1982 to 1990. From 1978 to 1982 she was Director of the Urban Development Action Grant program for the Baltimore City Department of Housing and Community Development. She is active in the Mortgage Bankers Association and the National Association of Home Builders. Margaret received her BA in Biological Field Sciences from UC Berkeley in 1968, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. Margaret is married with two adult children.

Carrie joined AGM in 1999. She performs all financial functions of the company and many of the personnel and human resources functions. Carrie is also AGM's mortgage credit expert, aiding borrowers in filling out HUD forms and securing the required financial references and mortgage credit documents. Over the past 18+ years she has worked for a number of companies in accounting and financial management functions. She is married and has one child.

Phil co-founded the company in 1990. He performs all Information Technology functions and public relations. Prior to joining AGM, Phil worked for a variety of community and national organizations to promote economic justice and environmental quality. Phil received his BA in History from the University of Maryland in 1964. He is married and has two adult children.

Dan joined AGM as an underwriter in 2000, previously spending five years at the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (as the tax credit coordinator, multifamily housing officer, and homeownership loan officer), as well as Second National Bank, Standard Federal Savings Bank, First Federal of Annapolis, and Baltimore Federal Financial. Dan received his BS in Business Administration and Accounting from Towson State University in 1976 and his MBA from Loyola College in 1994. Dan is married and has three grown children.

Troy joined AGM as a loan production officer in 1997 and has been a HUD-approved underwriter since 2000. He was employed at Colliers Pinkard in the appraisal department. Troy received his BS in Real Estate in 1995 from Pennsylvania State University. Troy was recently married.

Bob Johnson joined AGM in 2000 and is an approved HUD underwriter for multifamily and health care properties. Formerly he appraised commercial properties with a number of Baltimore-based firms, including his own, specializing in HUD-insured appraisal work. He is currently a licensed appraiser in Maryland and serves as Chief Appraiser for AGM, reviewing all market studies and appraisals as well as heading an underwriting team. Bob received his BA degree in Mathematics from Harvard University in 1970. Bob has five children.

Steve joined AGM in 2001 and is a HUD-approved underwriter. He was a senior underwriter in the Bank of America CMBS conduit program and was an instructor at JHU's Berman Real Estate Institute in 2000. Previously, Steve was associated with Lipman Frizzel & Mitchell for 13 years as a commercial real estate appraiser and consultant, earning the MAI designation in 1992. Steve received a BA in Liberal Arts from St. Johns College, Annapolis in 1985. Steve has one child.
