For the fifth consecutive year, AGM Financial Services (AGM) donated $100,000 to four Baltimore nonprofit organizations. Recipients will receive a $25,000 unrestricted grant, allowing each organization to use the donation to further its mission as it sees fit and for any legal purpose.
“As a Baltimore-based company, much of AGM’s success comes from right here at home,” says Myles Perkins, President and Owner. “The Donor Fund is simply a way for us to give back to the community that gave us our start more than 30 years ago.”
Recipients of the 2025 grant donations include:
- Center for Urban Families – Empowers Baltimore’s fathers and families through workforce development, fatherhood programs, and comprehensive services that help individuals achieve economic stability and overcome poverty.
- Marian House – Provides transitional and supportive housing for homeless women and their children, offering counseling, addiction treatment, employment assistance, and a safe environment to help them move from dependence to independence.
- Ulman Foundation – Creates a community of support for young adults (ages 15-39) and their loved ones impacted by cancer through patient navigation, free housing at Ulman House, college scholarships, and comprehensive resources.
- UniFIED Efforts – Offers free after-school and out-of-school-time programs for Baltimore’s school-age children in underserved neighborhoods to reduce learning loss, deter violence, and provide safe spaces for academic and personal growth.
“Each year, we decide on two nonprofits that align with AGM’s mission and values,” said Perkins. “We also accept nominations from our team. The team votes to determine the other two grant recipients.”
